However EQC/EECA have put together a program to help Cantabrians turn this tragedy into something positive - and Air Con NZ is a proud supporter of this program.  

People whose chimneys have been significantly damaged by the recent earthquakes can choose to replace their old log burners or open fires with new, clean and efficient heating - such as an Energy Star heat pump, and the cost will be covered under their claim to the Earthquake Commission (EQC). Heatpumps offer cost efficient heating, near instant heat, coolling of your home in the summer - which can all be controlled from the comfort of your couch!
